This painting was painted by a boy named Sam when he was 3 years old. It is called "My Mom". At the time this was painted Sam was in and out of the hospital receiving a bone marrow transplant. Painting description in Sam's words "Yellow is my favorite color and that is me. Red is for the pain that I have a lot of and orange is my mom because that is her favorite color. She always tries to hug the pain away that is why orange is all around the red and yellow". As of today Sam has had his second bone marrow transplant (the first failed) and is doing very well!
